One of HOM’s flagship programs, the Servathon, makes volunteering easily accessible for different companies and organizations. For one day each year, companies’ career-driven associates step out of the office and build camaraderie through meaningful volunteer work. Last year, a unified 1, 140 corporate and individual volunteers representing 27 groups engaged in a combined total of 7, 980 hours of service in partnership with Manuel A. Roxas High School, My Shelter Foundation and TESDA. Volunteers gave their time and talents by helping refurbish classrooms, feed identified indigent school children and build 200 emergency solar lights for the victims of typhoon Yolanda and select communities in nearby provinces.
