Good Deeds Day is an annual tradition of good deeds. All over the world, hundreds of thousands choose to volunteer and help others, putting into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.
This year, Hands On Manila (HOM) celebrated the global movement on April 1, 2017. 100 kids from Childhope Asia were invited to Arroceros Forest Park for a morning filled with lively activities, prizes to win and good food and treats to enjoy. Tita Balot and Tito Chito, two of HOM’s beloved Sherpas, were the hosts who spearheaded the event. All-in-all there were 90 HOM volunteers who also assisted and took turns in bonding with the kids during the fun activities that emphasized on reaching their dreams and learning what it meant to do good for others.
