Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide volunteer effort to maintain and contribute to public schools before the start of classes. This year was our 5th year with TELUS International. 2900 volunteers repainted 76 classrooms, 18 staircases, 22 hallways, and 1760 arm chairs.
They painted mural paintings in 9 designated areas, rehabilitated 6 garden areas, conducted a dental mission for 100 students, held a livelihood workshop for community mothers, and did a job preparation workshop for ALS students. They also provided basic life support training for school teachers, conducted community disaster resiliency training for community fathers, and constructed a new kinder room and playground area.
