Mondelez Philippines, together with Hands on Manila, implemented three projects for selected grade 3-5 students from partner schools in Paranaque and Quezon City.
Last October 8, 49 Mondelez volunteers went to Rogelio Gatchalian Elementary School while 41 went to Holy Spirit Elementary School. Each Mondelez volunteer was paired with a student and produced Go, Grow and Glow cloth books. These will serve as visual aids of the teachers to spread awareness on the right food and nutrition to take. Together with the volunteer leaders, they were able to render 1,971 volunteer hours and 96 sets of cloth books.
While in October 17, aside from producing the educational materials, 47 volunteers prepared egg sandwiches and sopas for the students. They rendered a total of 2,412 hours and 36 sets of cloth books.
These projects are in line with their Joy Schools Volunteer Event. The corporate volunteers were very lively and enthusiastic in completing their tasks.
