“It’s a very fulfilling experience, giving your effort and time more than monetary, an opportunity makapagbigay kami sa community. This opportunity gives us a window to extend outside the box, kung saan ka gumagalaw, lalo na ngayon pandemic maraming stress tapos very organize ang HOM and yung energy very lively.”
– from Sony PH volunteer
As School Reopening is getting near, HOM and our volunteers can’t stop to asure a safe back to school season for students.
Over 45 volunteers from Sony, members of school faculty and non-teaching personnel unite for the turn over ceremony of health kits for Sto. Rosario Elementary School and Capt. H. Francisco Elementary School.
Sony supported DepEd Brigada Eskwela through Hands On Manila by providing a total of 670 hygiene kits ( toothpaste, toothbrush, facemask, and bar soaps). More than that, Sony supported our implemented project – WASH or Water Access Sanitation and Hygiene Program to maintain students’ cleanliness and good hygiene.
The CSR leader also shared her experience with Hands On Manila. “HOM is very active on reaching out to those far school areas, community na kailangan talaga ng tulong. I believe that HOM became instrumental in helping these communities and schools to get the help they need and to raise awareness for these schools on their behalf. Instrumental in connecting the corporations and the communities na nangangailangan.”
