Santiago island was packed once again, with 60 volunteer teachers this time, from Dr. Artemio Natividad Elementary School and members of Samahan ng Malilit na Mangingisda (SMMV) who planted 2,000 mangrove propagules along its coastline. Seven (7) sacks of plastic bottles, six (6) sacks of plastic, three (3) sacks of styrofoam, and one (1) sack of glass bottles were also collected from the garbage cleanup.
