Hands on Manila’s relief for Typhoon Ulysses

”Hanggang bubong po ang baha sa amin noong bagyong Ulysses. Ang hirap po bumangon ulit tapos may COVID pa. Marami pong mahihirap na pagsubok ngayon taon pero dahil sa tulong ng mga taong mababait at mga organisasyong tulad ng Hands on Manila, nagkakaroon po kami ng lakas na tumayo at bumangon.” said Analiza Natalio, a parent leader from Tumana, Marikina. 

(The floodwater reached our roof during the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses. It is challenging for us to recover thus there is still COVID. There are a lot of hardships this year but through the help of kind-hearted people and organization like Hands on Manila, we find strength to rise up again.)

In coordination with Department of Social Welfare and Development – Marikina, Asian Social Institute,Unbound Manila, Brgy. Officials of San Vicente, Angono and San Roque, Cardona, Rizal, Hands on Manila delivered grocery packages for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

This was made possible through the donations from private individuals and Refinitiv. A total of 160 families were given the packages. Volunteer leaders from Young Servant Leadership and Education Program also helped in the distribution.
