Dream big with the Pangarap Shelter Kids

The boys of the Pangarap Shelter Foundation recently attended a sports clinic with the FEU Tamaraws, the men’s basketball team of Far Eastern University and current UAAP champions at FEU Institute of Technology in Sampaloc, Manila. Pangarap is one of HOM’s partner organizations, which provides support and shelter to street children in Metro Manila. Select youth from Pangarap exchanged not just basketball tricks but also life stories with their FEU Tamaraw counterparts. The Pangarap kids were inspired by how the players balanced their  dedication to the sport with their studies. The FEU players likewise admired the Pangarap boys’ fortitude in dealing with  the challenges they had to face growing up in a different and difficult environment. The sports clinic was organized by HOM’s Programs team as part of its Calendar of Activities.
