The Brigada Eskwela is a Department of Education annual program that refurbishes public school facilities. It was held last May 20-25, 2019, prior to the opening of the academic year. The theme was “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan.”

Hands on Manila’s individual and corporate volunteers helped to paint classroom walls, repair chairs and fix school equipment.

This year, HOM was able to service three partner schools, Timoteo Paez Elementary School, Pembo Elementary School and Kamuning Elementary School, with the help of 20 volunteers.
